It has been an interesting experience managing the user environment - we have had a customer who very quickly made herself at home in the APN study area and who resents anyone else who uses the room! There is always a tension between encouraging young people to use the area and making sure that their natural ebullience and very vocal enjoyment of YouTube, BeBo etc does not inhibit or discourage older users. Always a balancing act in a modern library!
