Hi my name is Michelle Smith and I attended a Web2 training course down in Greymouth on Friday 16th May 2008 with tutors Paul Reynolds and Paul Sutherland who were just great. They showed us that Web2 gives you the tools for conversation and is about participation, usability and remixability. Such a dynamic and informative duo who gave us an insight into widgets, bloggs, tagging and youtube amongst others.
I was very pleased to have the opportunity to learn more about todays internet as it continues to evolve all the time at such an amazing rate and there are always so many new things to learn about for not only ourselves but to be able to help customers who come in to use our APN Internet computers .
I learnt how to make my own Blog which was very exciting and about RSS feeds which are used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries and news headlines, which makes it possible for people to keep up with web sites in an automated manner that can be piped into special programs or filtered displays.
I would recommend this course to anyone interested in updating their internet skills.
